It is never too late to take up yoga
If you are over 60 and would like to take up yoga, the gentle class and its slower pace is the place to start.
The body has incredible regenerative powers and even after a short time of practising gentle postures, we feel rejuvenated, sleep better and have more energy. Proper breathing is of great importance and meditation helps us to feel centred within. Many problems associated with ageing are a result of lack of exercise and shallow breathing. Yoga can alleviate these complaints.
