Stress has been determined to be a significant cause of illness and disease. Using ancient techniques, we will work with the body, breath and mind to effectively relax and connect to inner peace. Relaxation leads to a healthy detachment towards the objects and circumstances of our lives, allowing us to reduce the negative effects of stress and transform stress into a positive challenge.
Come and join us for this mini weekend retreat in the oasis of peace of the Sivananda Yoga Centre in Putney. Learn practical yoga techniques to manage stress, improve wellbeing and respond positively to the circumstances and challenges of our lives. We look forward to having you with us.
Course outline:
- Practice of asanas, pranayama and relaxation to counteract the stress response
