We warmly welcome you for a vibrant five day yoga festival at the London Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre.

We will be hosting themed yoga workshops and a series of in-depth lectures on spirituality and meditation taught by senior teachers from all over Europe. The evenings will be enriched by beautiful discourses on the meaning of life accompanied by live music. Inspiring words of wisdom leave a deep impression on the minds of the listeners as they are taken on a soulful spiritual journey.

    Discourses based on the Srimad Bhagavatam, an ancient scripture on Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of universal love. The Bhagavatam tells many stories which help us to open our hearts, overcome the fears and confusion of the mind and understand the joy and unity of all life.

    Listening to the classical yoga scripture Srimad Bhagavatam connects Jnana (knowledge) with Bhakti (devotion).

    In his incomparable style, Sri Venugopal Goswami presents the message of this scripture, which comprises the teachings of all yoga systems of India. The inspiring words of wisdom are combined with a melodious interpretation of classical mantra chanting (Kirtan). Day by day, the audience is guided on a soulful journey to the meaning and goal of human existence.

    Excellent North Indian professional musicians accompany this programme with classical raga melodies und rhythms.

    Sri Venugopal Goswami has visited the European Sivananda Centres since 1998. His teachings come from a 500-year-old family tradition, which teaches this classical scripture. Sri Venugopal Goswami studied Sanskrit and Indian philosophy at the Hindu University in Benares. He also studied classical singing under the world-renowned Indian vocalist master Pandit Jasraj.
